TURF QUALITY

The Challenge

Optimal turf quality is essential to both visual appeal and playing conditions.

The Science

There are many variables that affect turf quality. This Redox Solution will focus on visual appeal and playing conditions.

Turf grass that has optimum nutrient balance will sustain the best color. Nutrients that are often less than available in the soil at optimum levels are magnesium, iron, and manganese. Exclusive focus on these nutrients, however, can lead to additional imbalances in the plant.

Calcium must be taken up into plant cells during their early stages of development. Calcium is a very important and critical component of cell walls. Turf grass with optimum calcium plays more consistently and also tolerates mechanical and foot traffic much better.

The redox Solution

VISUAL APPEAL - For optimal visual appeal, focus on balanced critical micro-nutrient nutrition.
SURFACE PLAYABILITY - In order to achieve surface playability, promote strong cell wall integrity.

TurfRx Mg

A reacted plant nutrient product high in magnesium. TurfRx Mg promotes high plant absorption and utilization due to microencapsulation. Apply 1 pint to 1 quart per acre (0.4 - 0.8 oz./1000 ft2) every 2-6 weeks as needed.

TurfRx Micro+

A reacted plant nutrient high in zinc, iron, and manganese, that also contains copper and boron. TurfRx Micro+ is chelated and complexed from carbon based reactions. Apply 1-3 quarts per acre (0.8 - 2.4 oz./1000 ft2) every 2-6 weeks as needed.

TurfRx Ca

A reacted plant nutrient high in calcium. TurfRx Ca improves plant calcium nutrition due to high plant absorption and utilization due to microencapsulation. Apply 0.25 - 1 gallon per acre (0.7 - 2.8 oz./1000 ft2) every 2-6 weeks or as needed.

TurfRx Si

A reacted plant nutrient high in calcium and silicon. TurfRx Ca Si strengthens cell walls and reduces oxidative stress. Apply 0.25 - 1 gallon per acre (0.7 - 2.8 oz./1000 ft2) every 2-6 weeks or as needed.
